HIMACHAL DELIGHT & TAJ MAHAL

 

DELHI – SHIMLA – MANALI – CHANDIGARH – AGRA - DELHI

Day 01 : Delhi – Shimla (Approx. 330 Kms/ 08 Hours)

Pick-up from Railways Station/ Airport and drive to Shimla, upon arrival check-in to the Hotel.

Evening visit to The Mall. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 02 : Shimla

Morning after breakfast visit to Jhakhu Temple, Tibetan Monastery, Kufri etc.

Evening visit to Lakkar Bazzar, The Mall Road etc.  Overnight at the Hotel. 

Day 03 : Shimla –  Manali (Approx. 08 Hrs. Drive)

Morning after breakfast proceeds by surface to Manali via Bilaspur, Sunder Nagar, Mandi, Kullu.

Evening arrive Manali, upon arrival check-in to Hotel.  Overnight at the Hotel. 

Day 04 : Manali

After breakfast visit to Rohtang Pass, Nehru Kund, Rahla Falls, Rani Nallah and Marhi etc.  Overnight at the Hotel. 

Day 05 : Manali

Morning after breakfast Local sightseeing of Manali, visit to Hadimba Temple, Loghuts, Club House, Vashisht Bat, Tibetan Monastery etc. 

Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 06 : Manali – Chandigarh (Approx. 325 Kms/ 08 Hrs.)

Morning after breakfast proceeds to Chandigarh, upon arrival check-in to the Hotel.  Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 07 : Chandigarh - Delhi (Approx. 270 Kms/ 06 Hrs.)

Morning after breakfast sightseeing of Chandigarh visit to Rock Garden & Rose Garden and continue drive to Delhi, on arrival check-in to the Hotel.   Overnight stay at the Hotel. 

Day 08 : Delhi – Agra – Delhi (Approx. 200 Kms/ 04 Hrs. – One ways)

Morning after early breakfast at the hotel we leave to explore the monumental heritage of the Great Mughals, including the magnificent Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men laboured for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan's beloved wife. It's a wealth of white marble and semi-precious stone - undoubtedly the highlight of our tour.   Later we leave for tour of the imposing Agra Fort, built of red sandstone and marble is a hilltop citadel with fabulous courtyards, fountains and gates. 

Rest of the time free to explore the local handicrafts and shopping centers of the city where one can look for marble inlay work, fine quality carpets, Zari and embroidery, leather goods etc. [Taj Mahal remains closed on every Friday].

Evening drive back to Delhi, on arrival check-in to the Hotel.  Overnight stay at the Hotel. 

Day 09 -  Delhi (Departure)

Morning breakfast at the hotel, followed by a sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi. Including Jama Masjid – this immense mosque is the largest in India, Red Fort - once the most opulent fort and palace of the Moghul Empire, nearby we enjoy the rickshaw Ride in the local markets of Chandni Chowk & Kinari Bazar. 

In New Delhi visit 11th century Qutab Minar Tower, the India Gate and the grand government buildings, the President’s House and Parliament House all dating back to the time of British Raj.

Evening transfer to the airport to connect the flight to your onward journey.
